Owner of Honey & Q Co.
We started our business in the boundless fields of wild flowers of Siberia and Northern Kazakhstan. Our bees pollinated agricultural fields of sweet clover, buckwheat, and sunflower. We always put the emphasis on the taste and quality of our honey, which is why our customers have always chosen our products.
In 2003, Mike Burk from Toronto, Ontario invited me to work for him as a beekeeper. It was a big step and allowed me to learn the craft of beekeeping here in Canada. Soon after I was offered a job by John Van Alten at his company, Dutchman’s Gold Inc. It was a very rewarding experience and I am very grateful to Mike and John.
In 2006, I started my own business in Canada with 50 hives that I was rewarded by Dutchman’s Gold Inc. for my contribution to the company’s success and growth over the years that I have worked there.
In 2007, Honey & Q allocated 340 hives for pollination of blueberry fields in New Brunswick, including those of Wyman’s Inc. - one of the oldest manufacturers of blueberries in the world. In 2008, we have doubled that number to 700 bee colonies.
During the 2009 Royal Winter fair, Honey & Q Co. was awarded 1st place in Canada for our buckwheat honey.
Today, we are one of the fastest growing business in the industry, supplying many of our clients with awards winning bee products and bee queens.
